About the Author:

Nick Withiell, a voice from rural Derbyshire, began his writing odyssey later in life, transforming a new author competition entry into a mesmerising series. This all began when he entered a writing competition in the Daily Mail for unpublished authors. While he didn't win any prizes, it did start a love of writing that took him from a first novel, to become a complete series.

I grew up in rural Hampshire during the 1950's, and this has influenced my narrative through this book series. Though some events may seem fantastic, many are based on true life. They did happen, but not quite as I have written them in my books...
